SUBSTANCE: method involves first measuring scleral spur zone width, ciliary body zone width, anterior chamber depth, eye lens thickness, eye length and intraocular humor production rate. Empirical coefficient of closed angle glaucoma clinical course in mongoloid race patients is calculated from formula K=13.3*L*Ash *(p/x)2/3*(Act+0.86)/(57.3*F), where p is the anterior chamber depth, mm; Ash is the scleral spur zone width (in Schlemm's canal width parts); Act is the ciliary body zone width (in Schlemm's canal width parts); F is the intraocular humor production rate in mm3/min. K<0.5, acute clinical course of closed angle glaucoma is to be diagnosed in mongoloid race patients. K>0.5, chronic clinical course of closed angle glaucoma is to be diagnosed in mongoloid race patients.
EFFECT: high accuracy of differential diagnosis.
