FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: anterior eye segment structures are examined for relative position using ultrasonic biomicroscopy with detected conformity presence and extension of anterior iris surface to posterior cornea surface. Anterior chamber depth is measured. Ciliary body position is determined relative to scleral spur by measuring angle formed by concurrence of two lines that are line perpendicular to scleral spur and line originating from ciliary process apex to scleral spur. Length of Zinn ligament fibres is measured in opposite segments 600 and 1200 o'clock ciliary process apex to equatorial zone of natural crystalline lens. Posterior chamber depth is measured in opposite segments 600 and 1200 o'clock from posterior iris surface to the first visualised ciliary process by perpendicular distanced 500 mcm from scleral spurs. Exfoliative inclusions are detected on anterior segment eye structures. If conformity of anterior iris surface to posterior cornea surface of length 0.86 mm to 1.58 mm, anterior chamber depth within 1.42 mm to 1.98 mm, measured angle within 35° to 65°, length difference of Zinn ligament fibres 0.20 mm to 0.85 mm, depth difference of posterior chamber in opposite segments 0.27 to 0.71 mm, as well as exfoliative inclusions on anterior segment eye structures are simultaneously detected, closed-angle glaucoma is diagnosed with angular block combined with cyclolenticular and relative umbrella iris for mongoloids suffering from pseudoexfoliative syndrome.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of closed-angle glaucoma diagnostics with angular block combined with cyclolenticular and relative umbrella iris for mongoloids suffering from pseudoexfoliative syndrome.
