FIELD: presses.

SUBSTANCE: stamping press has unmovable bottom plate with flat working surface and movable top plate with projecting working surface which is connected with a drive for its actuating. The drive of the top plate is made of a slider-crank mechanism. The connecting rod of the mechanism is secured to the top plate and is in coincidence with the normal which passes through the center of the bottom plate. The center of curvature of the convex working plate of the movable plate is set on the extension of the connecting rod from the side of crank pin .
