FIELD: avia-space engineering; devices for preparation of water areas for takeoff of seaplane-boost-glide aircraft.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes use of ejection ship provided with technological jet engines and jet-turning chutes. Hull of seaplane is kept in aft semi-flooded chute of ejection ship by its tail section before launch of winged system and during operation of jet engines. Said chutes are cooled with sea water during operation of jet engines at simultaneous dampening of surface waves on running way by vapor and water flows escaping from these chutes. Water delivered to chute is proportioned by means of ship's fore passage due to ejection action of said vapor and water flows. Then holding coupling is broken by placing the cruise engines in operation and seaplane starts gliding in semi-flooded chute. Technological jet engines are disconnected and aircraft continues running on still water surface before takeoff.
EFFECT: reduced power requirements; enhanced safety of takeoff.
