FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes detecting portions prone to landslides, on basis of data from geological cross-sections, periodical measurements of seeming specific electric resistance of massive in different points and detecting concealed stages of landslide development on basis of measurements, in time, of relative values of measured values. On basis of data from geological cross-sections position of possible slide surface is detected, seeming specific electric resistances of massive are measured by electro-profiling method from its surface in parallel to shelf edge above middle portion of possible slide surface with probing depth equal to depth of location of weakened layer at mark matching extreme change of electric resistance in time on basis of relation to starting value measured during stable rock formations state, profile is marked which is perpendicular to shelf edge, and additional measurements are performed by electro-profiling method, and stages of concealed landslide development are evaluated on basis of change of area of abnormal zone.
EFFECT: lower laboriousness of measurements and higher precision of predicting landslide forming phase.
