FIELD: pipeline engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises laying pipes along the path, setting rubber seals and steel locking rings in the groove of the bell, and abutting the bells of one of the pipes against the collar of the other pipe to provide a pressure-tight junction. Before setting the rubber sealing ring in the grooves of the bell, the value of relative compression deformation of the ring is determined. The ring is then submerged in gasoline at a temperature of 20±2°C.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
