METHOD TO ERECT SURFACE METAL COLLAPSIBLE OIL-PRODUCTS PIPELINE Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC F16L1/24

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: "Socket" hinged joint is used with a spherical element, having concentric surfaces at a cylindrical end of various radii, on the concentric surface of larger radius of which there is additionally a metal collar is placed prior to pipes delivery to a route. Using a facility moving along the specified route, pickets are set, areas for installation of pump stations, stop and control valves are identified. Pipes are delivered in packets, pipes are laid and installed with a pipe laying machine, in fixed areas for installation of pump stations an additional set of pipes is placed for assembly of duplicating lines of the collapsible oil-products pipeline. In areas for installation of pump stations there are at least two mobile pump sets placed, which are connected serially, in parallel or in a combined manner depending on the requested head and discharge.

EFFECT: method reduces time for commissioning the surface collapsible oil-products pipeline, provides for high extent of tightness, strength of connection and increased angular mobility, high throughput capacity, ecological compatibility.
