FIELD: pipeline engineering.
SUBSTANCE: piping member (11) has sealing ring (10) set at the end of piping member (11). The sealing ring has base (13) which is pressed to the outer side of the piping member. The sealing ring has sealing collar (14) made for permitting sealing the outer pipe from the inner side. The outer pipe receives the piping member. Base (13) is set in ring groove (17) provided in the wall of piping member (11). The locking collar is bent out and presses to base (13) via end part (18), providing reliable securing of sealing ring (10). The method of securing sealing ring (10) includes bending end part (18) of piping member (11) together with locking collar (14).
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of sealing.
