FIELD: machine engineering, possibly manufacture of tools for abrasive finishing and surface plastic deforming of inner surfaces of openings of machine parts.
SUBSTANCE: grinding disc is mounted on mandrel and it has separate diamond-abrasive beams secured to outer surface of tore like elastic envelope. Cylindrical housing is arranged along the same axis as grinding disc. In closed groove of cylindrical housing deforming members are placed one near another. It is possible to restore worn outer diameter of grinding disc due to supplying compressed air into elastic envelope according to condition of arranging working surface of disc in the same tangent plane with deforming members.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, improved quality of grinding, increased useful life period of tool without readjusting it, possibility for restoring outer diameter of abrasive portion of disc at operation of tool.
