SAPROPEL-BASE ORGANOMINERAL MIXTURE COMPOSITION FOR LANDSCAPING AND METHOD FOR ITS PREPARING Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: agricultures, fertilizers.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacturing sapropel-base organomineral fertilizers used for landscaping lawns, squares, road slopes and so on. Composition comprises sapropel with humidity below 60% and particles size 0.2-12 mm, and nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium are used as mineral fertilizers. Components are taken in the following ratio, %: nitrogen, 0.010-0.038; phosphorus, 0.015-0.056; potassium, 0.015-0.056; plant seeds, 0.50-0.60, and sapropel, the balance. Method for preparing the composition involves output and dehydration of sapropel hydromass. Output of sapropel hydromass is carried out by dredge and fed by pipelines to preliminary banked platform (card) on which filtration wells are installed additionally. After filling a platform with sapropel hydromass, free water is removed through filtration wells and then dehydrating sapropel hydromass is carried out by freezing in winter season for two years. During freezing snow is removed from platform periodically and grooves are cut. After freezing for two years dehydrated frozen sapropel layer is removed in summer season and fed its to line for manufacturing the organomineral composition wherein its sifting is carried out, inert subjects are removed and mixed with mineral fertilizers and plant or grass seeds and dispensed. Using the invention provides preparing fireproof, ecologically pure composition with low acidity providing high yield in reducing labor intensity in its preparing method.
