SUBSTANCE: method for dehydration of sapropel when producing a sapropel product includes injection of sapropel of natural moisture into an accumulating tank made of a strong water-filtering material, such as a flexible sleeve, with serial freezing of sapropel, thawing and drying of up to 60% of moisture in the flexible sleeve, realised under natural conditions with arrangement of the sleeve vertically above the earth surface or in a refrigerator chamber, or freezing is carried out in the refrigerator chamber, thawing - under natural conditions, and drying is carried out in a drying chamber.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase quality of a produced sapropel product, to reduce time of its production at different time of the year and under various climatic conditions with simultaneous reduction of labour intensiveness of product making technology.
