FIELD: nonwoven fancy materials.
SUBSTANCE: according to invention, after preliminary fixing of fiber laid on surface of textile ground, fiber surface is carded according to pattern to depth excluding carding of ground surface under fiber and in direction non-coinciding with direction of initial carding or teasing of ground. When correcting the pattern, special orientation of fibers of each pattern element provided by additional carding is preserved. Hand tool for carding, preliminary fixing and curling of design-making fiber on nonwoven fancy decorative material has handle with at least two working needles, each provided with side teeth and elongated sharpened point, and spring-loaded rod installed for displacement in handle which carries setting strip with corresponding to number of needles freely passing through said holes. Rod is provided with pushbutton, and guide strip with holes corresponding to number of holes of setting strip is connected to lower part of handle. Setting strip is connected by screws to pressure strip. Needles are provided with bent off shanks fixed by pressure strip, gasket and setting strip.
EFFECT: provision of watered-effect pattern using part of fibers and peacock-tail effect pattern.
