FIELD: nonwoven materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to textile industry, in particular to production of nonwoven materials. Method of making nonwoven needle-punched material from polyester fibre involves loosening the fibre, antistatic treatment of the fibre by oiling, curing the fibre, additional loosening of the fibre for uniform distribution of the fibre along the length and width. Further, the canvas is formed on carding machines and the canvas is transformed by multiple combing of the carding to obtain a multilayer fibrous canvas with a random arrangement of fibres. Then canvas is processed by needle punching in two stages. At the first stage of needle punching, preliminary needle punching is performed with the help of one needle bed including several needle boards. At the second stage of needle punching, needle punching is performed by means of two needle beds, each of which includes several needle boards. After needle punching, the canvas is heat-set at temperature of 150 to 200 °C.

EFFECT: high strength of the nonwoven material by adding Vinyltrimethoxysilane oiling agent to the solution and setting the temperature during heat setting of the material.
