ROTARY PISTON MACHINE Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2239702 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotary-piston machines with rotating working members and variable displacement and it can be used in power engineering as compressor, pump, pneumatic and hydraulic motors. Proposed rotary-piston machine has housing with toroidal working surface, mechanism to charge distance between pistons, intake and exhaust ports, rotor with sliders fitted in its slots and hinge connected with pistons, and slider rollers. Mechanism to change distance between pistons is made in form of eccentrically arranged center of rotation of rotor relative to center of toroidal working surface of housing. Rings installed in ring grooves of housing from both sides of rotor are hinge-connected with axles of one of slides. Axles rollers of other sliders are arranged in C-shaped ring slots made in ring.

EFFECT: reduced wear of mated surfaces, increased mechanical efficiency and service life of machine.
