FIELD: oil producing industry; pumps.

SUBSTANCE: proposed jet plant for logging horizontal wells contains ring with stepped through channel installed on lower section of casing string. Through channel is used to sealing unit. Plant has also smooth tubing string with fitted-in jet pump in housing of which active nozzle and mixing chamber with diffuser are arranged, and channel for delivering active medium, channel for delivering medium pumped out of well and stepped through channel are made. Blocking insert with through channel can be installed is stepped channel to close active medium delivery channel or pressure differential insert can be installed to overlap cross section of tubing string. Logging instrument is installed on lower end of tubing string. Sealing unit is fitted on tubing string between logging instrument and jet pump for axial displacement relative to tubing string. Lower section of tubing string over logging instrument is made perforated. Method of operation of jet when logging horizontal wells comes to the following: ring with stepped through channel is installed in casing string on its lower section and then jet pump is lowered into well on smooth tubing string, pump being provided with stepped through channel in its housing, and logging instrument installed on lower end of tubing string lower than jet pump. Perforated section is made on lower on lower end of tubing string from side of its lower end. Sealing unit movable relative to tubing string is preliminarily put on section between jet pump and logging instrument. Logging instrument, when being lowered, measured background values of physical parameters of productive strata. Then sealing unit is installed in stepped through channel of ring, and logging instrument is installed in zone of productive strata. Then pressure differential insert is fitted in stepped through channel of jet pump housing, thus dividing tubing string, and liquid working medium is delivered along tubing string into jet pump nozzle, thus creating different pressure differentials in well lower than sealing unit. Well flow rate is measured at each pressure differential, and then, with jet pump operating, logging instrument is moved along productive strata by moving tubing string together with jet pump relative to sealing unit, and geophysical parameters of productive strata and forming fluid getting into well are recorded. After termination of investigations, tubing string with jet pump, sealing unit and logging instrument are lifted to surface.

EFFECT: intensification of investigation, tasting and preparation of wells, mainly horizontal and highly deflected wells.
