FIELD: firing and fire control of artillery.

SUBSTANCE: at a fire of an area target preliminarily estimated is the position and nature of the target elements, determined are the precise outline of the area target in the form of an arbitrary polygon, the number and position of the aiming points inside the polygon depending on its appearance for provision of a uniform target fire density, number of guns in the battery, nature of the target, ballistic conditions of firing, and the fire of the area target is performed. The device proper has n component units of the sets of observers combined in a network through a base complex. Each set comprises a coordination and control device connected to a group device of connection to radio channels.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of firing, combat potential of artillery firing units.
