FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device has flexible rod provided with tree through openings to form two flexible members along the axis of the rod. A flexible pointer is interposed between the members. The pointer points along the axis of the rod toward the site where one of the ends of the rod is secured. Under the action of a force applied to the other end of the rod in the plane of the pointer, the end of the pointer can rotate about the fixed end of the rod when the rod is bent.

EFFECT: simplified design.
