FIELD: electrical engineering; manufacture of induction-motor squirrel-cage rotors.

SUBSTANCE: electrical machine core and squirrel-cage winding are manufactured as follows: winding bars and end rings are produced from single sheet by cutting bars in the form of strips followed by jointing winding with core; prior to do so mentioned strips are turned through right or almost right angle toward original plain of sheet whereupon mentioned jointing is made by inserting strips in core slots. Such procedure makes it possible to reduce conducting material waste.

EFFECT: reduced cost of machine, enhanced mechanical strength of its core.
