Abstract RU 2239934 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering; dc motor design.

SUBSTANCE: electric motor has frame with front and rear end plates. Frame accommodates magnetic core with two poles carrying field windings. Motor armature is mounted in self-aligning bearings, armature winding is placed in core slots, and winding leads are connected to commutator contacting graphite brushes. Terminal box is mounted on frame top. Novelty is introduction of additional compartment which is closed with cover and accommodates dc generator. Input terminals of dc generator are connected through current-limiting resistor to terminals of terminal box and output terminals are electrically connected to motor input leads.

EFFECT: reduced power requirement, enhanced power output, and reduced current consumption.
