FIELD: medicine, orthopedics.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with lateral patellar release to form artificial surface of femoral patellar cap. After separating synovial membrane against fibrous capsule along anterior-internal surface of knee joint and developing two P-shaped fragments out of these tissues, the fragment out of synovial membrane should be applied between patella and femur by developing a sliding interlayer, and a fragment out of fibrous capsule with elements of median broad muscle should be applied above patella to be sutured into defect of anterior-lateral department of knee joint to prevent the development of arthrosis.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
