FIELD: sanitary and hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: method is characterized by that clothes are subjected to treatment with non-equilibrium low-temperature plasma of h-frequency discharge in plasma-forming argon and air with following parameters: working pressure in vacuum chamber 30-50 Pa, specific volume power of discharge 3.0-3.5 W/cm3, plasma-forming intake 0.06-0.08 g/s, treatment time 6-30 min, ion stream density 0.5-3 MA/cm2. Such treatment of clothes allows preserving sterilization effect over a 30 to 70 day period, increase in clothes strength 5-8%, and increase in fire resistance at elevated temperatures.
EFFECT: increased sterilization effect and improved consumer's property of clothes.
