FIELD: production of chemical combined threads for manufacture of consumer goods.
SUBSTANCE: method involves manufacturing twisted combined thread from components having different failure elongation; forming strings from said components by moving components in the form of viscose and polyester filaments into feeding zone at different failure elongation, with larger failure elongation being imparted to polyester complex thread having larger failure elongation than viscose complex thread; twisting together said components to form string by means of down stroke twister. During string formation, polyester viscose complex thread is fed at tightening extent exceeding that of viscose complex thread by 8 times. Ready thread is formed by feeding strings at equal tension and twisting thereof by means of down stroke twisting equipment.
EFFECT: improved quality of combined threads, improved consumer properties and wider range of articles produced from such threads.
