FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed stepless impulse transmission has housing 1, shaft, impulse variable-speed drive including overrunning clutch, crank-and-rocker converting mechanism and eccentric mechanism to change length of crank and rod. Transmission has damper, whose rod 4 is connected with rod 3 of variable-speed drive. Spaces of damper are interconnected by channel 11 provided with spool 12 mechanically connected with slider 26 of centrifugal governor mechanically connected with driving shaft 2 of variable-speed drive. Rack-and-pinion drive is installed on damper rod 4 and spring 16 in contact with stop 13 of rod 4 and with rack 14 is also mounted on damper rod. Said design peculiarities provided operation of engine at required mode, for instance, economy or sporting, and rigid fixing of rods in position at steady state conditions which enlarges operating capabilities of transmission and provides high quality of regulation, reliability and increased service life of transmission at conveying relative high powers.
EFFECT: improved operation reliability.
