FIELD: veterinary obstetrics.
SUBSTANCE: the method deals with applying suppositories manufactured based upon a filler as polyethylene glycol and an active substance - dense fraction of the product of dry distillation of hazel nut, where dense fraction corresponds to 1.75-2.25%, a filler - the rest to be introduced for intrauterine application per 3-4 pcs once daily till complete healing. The method enables to shorten the period for treating acute postnatal endometritis in cows and achieve stable therapeutic effect.
EFFECT: shortened number of sterility days in animals.
