SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the biotechnology. Preparation for treating and preventing postpartum endometritis of cows for intrauterine introduction contains Bacillus subtilis bacteria and Bacillus licheniformis bacteria with spore titre 108–1011 in ratio 1:1, 0.5–1.5 % chitosan solution with degree of deacetylation of not less than 70 % and viscosity of 20–200 cP and additives such as lactose, CaCO3, milk whey or beet juice in specified ratio of components. Bacteria used are a strain of Bacillus subtilis UCM V-5007 and a strain of Bacillus licheniformis UCM V-5514 or Bacillus subtilis VKPM V-10172 and a strain of Bacillus licheniformis VKPM V-10135 or Bacillus subtilis CH201 and a strain of Bacillus licheniformis CH200, and pH is in limits 3.5–5.8.
EFFECT: invention enables improving the effectiveness of treating or preventing postpartum endometritis in cows.
