FIELD: equipment for cleaning and sorting out of bulk materials, preferably grain, from light contaminants by air flow.

SUBSTANCE: pneumatic separator has pneumatic separating channel with transverse window for introducing of material to be cleaned, concave tilt boards arranged one above another in pneumatic separating channel and equipped with rectilinear feeding and exit portions. Length of tilt boards increases and angle of arrangement of tilt boards with respect to vertical wall of pneumatic separating channel decreases beginning from upper tilt board in accordance with brachistochrone law.

EFFECT: improved quality of separation owing to more uniform distribution of grain mixture in pneumatic separation channel.
