PNEUMATIC SEPARATOR Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2223829 C2

FIELD: farming; mechanical engineering; flour elevator and formula feed industries for cleaning grain from light admixtures by air flow. SUBSTANCE: proposed pneumatic separator has vertical pneumatic separating passage with transversal port for introduction of material to be separated, loading bin with sliding plane and feeder. Surface of sliding plane is stepped in width in form of upper and lower chutes alternating in staggered order whose leading edges adjoin each other and horizontal trailing edges adjoin profiled wall of pneumatic separating passage located under transversal port used for discharge of material. Projections of profiled wall are engageable with horizontal edges of upper chutes and recesses are engageable with horizontal edges of lower chutes. EFFECT: improved quality of separation due to rational lamination of material before introducing it to separating passage; increased productivity; reduced power requirements. 2 dwg
