FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular to spikes for attaching shoes to bicycle pedals. The spike is made in the form of an elongated base with a solid central open channel. The width of the channel corresponds to the size of the cross-section of the axial element of the pedal. On the front end of the elongated base there are projections, the size of which corresponds to the size of the cross-section of the pedal element perpendicular to the axial element of the pedal. The strap for attaching shoes to a bicycle pedal includes a retaining element and a clamping element. The clamping element is made in the form of an elongated element with a through elongated central hole and a lever. The retaining element is made in the form of an annular belt. The length and width of the hole in the elongated element are proportional, respectively, to the width and thickness of the annular belt. The lever is mounted on one of the ends of the elongated element perpendicular to the elongated element.
EFFECT: increased reliability is achieved.
