FIELD: chemical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: thermal deaerator suitable for degassing of water comprises: heat exchangers; deaeration column connected with connecting pipes serving for supplying water and heat carrier and for discharging steam-air mixture and deaerated water; and multistep steam generator mounted in the same casing with deaeration column. Steam-water mixture-discharge pipe is connected to gas inlet of water-jet ejector functioning as control means in steam generator liquid inlet of water-jet ejector is connected to inlet pipe serving for passage of chemically cleaned water into deaeration stage and outlet pipe of water-jet ejector is connected to vessel having (i) connecting pipe for communication through hydraulic gate with water-supply connecting pipe in column and (ii) air-discharge connecting pipe. Steam generator consists of circuits in -series installed in the travel direction of water fed into deaeration stage. The circuits include heat exchangers, to which heat carrier is passed. Column includes reflecting sheets and perforated sheets.
EFFECT: increased degree of water degassing and enabled control of thermodynamic condition of degassing.
