FRICTION CLUTCH Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2241152 C2

FIELD: transport engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for transmission of torque from shaft to shaft with possibility of smooth engagement and disengagement of power flow. Adjuster providing constant tension of plate spring during entire service of clutch acts between clutch cover plate and plate spring. Turnable support axially resting of cover plate and designed for plate spring is installed for axial displacement by means of adjuster. Plate spring has spring tongues made integral with plate spring which, being axially tensioned, press on plate spring axially in direction of turnable support. Cover plate has support sections on which springy tongues rest on side of plate spring pointed to pressure plate.

EFFECT: simplified design, improved performance characteristics of clutch, optimized functioning and increased service life.
