FIELD: automotive engineering; designed for transmission of torque between shafts with smooth engagement and disengagement of power flow. SUBSTANCE: device for transmission of torque from drive shaft of internal combustion engine to input shaft of gear box has two flywheel weights made for rotation on bearings relative to each other opposite to action of damping device which has energy accumulators and also has friction clutch ensuring connection of secondary flywheel weight with input shaft of gear box. Novelty consists in provision of limiting transmitted torque joint in the form of safety clutch on path of torque transmission between primary flywheel weight made for connection with drive shaft of internal combustion engine and input shaft of gear box. Said safety friction clutch ensures disengagement of friction clutch from device for torque transmission. Joint is quick-break type and designed for mounting and dismantling of parts forming safety friction clutch.
