FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, farm crop irrigation equipment.

SUBSTANCE: boom-type sprinkler unit has supporting members made in the form of cables and attached in cantilevered relation to frame top part, and irrigation pipeline connected with vehicle through pumping plant equipped with float-type intake valve. Irrigation pipeline is manufactured from low-pressure polyethylene and is assembled from pipe lengths of 4-6 m and 120-160 mm diameter. Pipe ends are embraced with bands. Flanged branch pipes are arranged inside pipe end portions. Flange pairs are mutually joined by means of fastening members through gasket.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified construction.
