FIELD: metal cutting, namely manufacture of body parts of low rigidity, possibly with cellular background.
SUBSTANCE: machine tool includes two housings. In one housing tool unit is mounted with possibility of axial motion and rotation. Tool unit is in the form of two pairs of differently oriented passive and active brackets. In cantilever of each bracket milling heads and tracking support assemblies are mounted one opposite to other. In second housing attachment for desired working of part and for rotating it around vertical axis is mounted with possibility of motion in direction normal relative to motion direction of tool unit. In order to improve efficiency of milling process due to increased vibration proofness, cantilevers of passive brackets are mutually joined by means of shock absorbing devices. Each shock absorbing device may have two sleeves with flanges in one end, bush having flanges on both ends and arranged on sleeves with possibility of motion, elastic members placed between flanges of sleeves and bush. Bush is joined with sleeves by means of fastening members arranged in bush and passing through grooves provided in sleeves. Mandrel may be placed in each sleeve of shock absorbing device. One mandrel may be fixed in tool spindle; other - in seat of tracking support assembly.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of milling process, improved vibration proofness.
