FIELD: machine engineering, manufacture of low-rigidity body parts such as fuel tanks with cellular background.
SUBSTANCE: milling machine tool includes two columns. Each column supports drive carriage that may perform vertical reciprocation motion. Machine tool also includes crosspiece mounted on carriages; annular table for mounting worked and mounted itself on crosspiece with possibility of rotation by means of drive unit also secured to crosspiece; brackets, each bracket supports milling head and tracking support arranged mutually opposite. In order to enhance milling accuracy, to lower metal consumption and reduce surface area designed for each milling machine tool, each carriage is provided with separate drive for moving it. Machine tool also includes mechanism for loading worked part to milling zone. Said mechanism is in the form of two paired beams having members for gripping part mounted with possibility of motion in carriages.
EFFECT: enhanced working accuracy, lowered metal consumption, reduced surface area of production room for mounting machine tool.
