FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in making low-stiffness structural parts with cellular (honeycomb) base layer. Machine comprises two beds, one supporting milling assembly and is made up of two opposed active and passive bridge plates. One of the latter features C-shape. Milling heads are mounted, in opposed pairs, on bridge plate arms. Second bed supports swivel to clamp part to be milled and feed around horizontal axis. Milling assembly C-shape bridge plate is asymmetric. Milling head seats on its arms are located in parallel planes, opposed and turned relative to each other through 180° with respect to vertical axis extending through milling head axis.
EFFECT: expanded milling performances.
