FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy; nonferrous metal production electrolyzers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device designed for electrolytic production of nonferrous metals in electrolyzers to automatically control mass of zinc deposited on cathodes of electrolysis bath when controlling electrolysis process has electrolysis bath with flat or plate-shaped electrodes, mass weighing mechanism in the form of strain sensor with suspended reference electrode, suspending device of the latter being made in the form of weighing beam secured by means of cables on blocks mounted on fixed supporting structure.
EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced reliability and ability of operation in industrial conditions.
