FIELD: sanitary engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed grinder contains at least one channel to take in sewage water into caisson 1, electric motor with rotary pump 5 with blades 6 installed on end of motor shaft, and grinding members arranged opposite to breaking chamber 3 furnished with inlet hole. Front side 5a of rotor 5 is flat and it contains great number of radial channels for water coming to outer circumference of rotor 5. Each channel of rotor 5 is extended by channel limited by helicoid blades 6. Rotor 5 is installed in pump housing 8 so that its front side 5a is in plane of pump housing hole with grinding units 9 projecting axially outside relative to said front side 5a.
EFFECT: prevention of clogging of pump and accumulation of refuse and stopping of pump motor, reduced noise in operation.
