FIELD: temperature control systems in space engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed fan unit has prefabricated frame of inner diameter d; two coaxial bushings joined to frame by means of pylons and built integral with the latter; electric motors, each mounted within bushing, shaft of each motor facing that of other motor and carrying impeller. Frame is made in the form of ribs elongated in axial direction; shells with fastening members securing them on ribs are disposed between every two ribs. Each rib is built integral with two opposing pylons arranged on opposite ends of frame; inner surfaces of shells and ribs are cylindrical of diameter d; fastening members are provided on ribs.
EFFECT: facilitated manufacture.
