SUBSTANCE: axial- flow fan has composite housing in the form of cylindrical casing and inner shell joined to the latter through radial ribs; inner shell accommodates electric motor with propeller; casing has flange for mounting the fan in position; flange, radial ribs, and inner shell are built integral and casing is built up of two sleeves connected to flange on opposite ends; cylindrical parts of sleeves are placed between flange and inner shell; sleeves have slots to receive ribs; casing has members ensuring its alignment with propeller.
