SUBSTANCE: proposed heat insulation designed for use in housings of large high-pressure and high-temperature equipment (heat-transfer apparatuses and tanks) and characterized in reduced time for its mounting and dismounting has heat insulating blocks placed directly in power equipment housing with shrouds and braces disposed on external side of blocks; shrouds are attached to blocks through threaded joints and braces are rigidly fixed to shrouds.
EFFECT: improved insulating properties, facilitated mounting, enhanced reparability of equipment.
