FIELD: control data transfer over downlink and/or uplink in mobile communication system using base station and/or mobile station.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method affording minimal time required to resynchronize base station, discontinuous transmission of uplink allocated physical control channel, and transfer of transmission control bits for uplink includes following operations. In one of its alternatives base station checks for data designed for transfer to mobile station over downlink. If any data designed for transfer over downlink are absent during predetermine time interval, base station actuates random gating position device to specify gating time step position in random manner, control data are passed in time step of desired position, and control data residing in other positions of time step are cut off. Device for selecting random position specifies gating clock position by computing 'x' value for which purpose frame system number is multiplied by certain definite integer number; prior to gating in plurality of time intervals used for generating downlink signal, it selects n bits starting from position spaced from starting point of scrambling code by 'x' items of code whose period equals one frame and specifies gating clock position of respective group of gating clocks by modulo scaling of chosen n bits, where modulus value in modulo scaling equals number of time steps in group of gating clocks.
EFFECT: enhanced system capacity, reduced noise level, enhanced service life of mobile station storage battery, reduced noise level.
