FIELD: nondestructive inspection of objects using roentgen rays.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device has laser, mirror mounted on intersection of laser and X-ray beam axes that directs laser beams to object, and distant-scale lens. This device is characterized in that it also has second mirror mounted in tandem on optical axis of lens, autocollimation mark in the form of overlay, condenser, and light source. CCD matrix is mounted on axis orthogonal to optical axis of lens which crosses intersection of this axis and second mirror; CCD matrix and mark are equally spaced from this point of intersection; range scale complies with definite equation.
EFFECT: ability of measuring distances when inspecting objects in spaces smaller than range finder base.
