FIELD: non-destructive inspection of materials and articles, radiation testing. SUBSTANCE: traditional laser centering mount is fitted with light guide and illuminator. Output butt of light guide has dimensions and form identical to dimensions and form of focal spot of X-ray radiator and is mounted on optical axis of laser radiator uniaxially to it between first mirror and objective lens of telescope at distance A from point of crossing of optical axis of laser radiator with first mirror equal to distance A′ from focal spot of X-ray radiator to point of crossing of axis of X-ray beam with first mirror. Diaphragm with aperture of radius R which value is coupled to distance K by relation R=K •tgβ, where β is half-width of opening angle of X-ray radiation beam, is set in front of output butt of light guide on its optical axis at distance K from it. Illuminator is mounted in front of input butt of light guide on its optical axis and uniaxially to it. It includes polychromatic light source, optical filters and modulator to control brightness, chromaticity and modulation frequency of optical radiation entering light guide and capacitor focusing optical radiation beam from light source with aperture angle α, whose value is linked to angular aperture of light guide and half-width of opening angle β of X-ray radiation by relations α ≥ and ≥ β.
