LASER CENTERING SKID FOR X-RAY SOURCE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: X- ray equipment. SUBSTANCE: device has housing in which laser is located. Optical axis of laser is parallel to longitudinal axis of X- ray source. In addition device has two mirrors, first of which is made from resin glass, is mounted on intersection of optical axes of laser and X-ray beams in perpendicular to plane provided by these beams. It illuminates object by collimated laser beam which is concentric to X-ray beam. In addition device has scale, telescope, which has microscope objective and lens. It provides generation of disk-shaped real image by means of first mirror, lens and second mirror which is semitransparent. This disk-shaped real image is generated in focal plane of telescope lens which coincides with linear scale which is made from glass. This disk-shaped real image is produced on surface of object in area of illumination by laser beam. Image of scale and object region which is illuminated by laser beam is projected towards plane of small-size CCD-matrix camera which output is sent to input of video monitor, which screen provides observation of image of laser spot, which size defines focal length of X-ray source for its current position with respect to object. EFFECT: increased precision and speed for measuring focal lengths, simplified design, improved use, possibility of operation with object which is located inside hollows and of visual observation of their surfaces in flaw regions. 2 dwg
