FIELD: agriculture, fodder production.
SUBSTANCE: the suggested fodder additive contains liquid source of humic acids - tincture out of peat raw material at the content of humic acids being 0.3-30 weight% and a filler as mineral adsorbing agent as opal-cristobalite rocks at 0.1-3.0 mm size. The method for obtaining the suggested mineral additive deals with mixing liquid component with a filler-mineral adsorbing agent-opal-cristobalite rocks at 1:2-3 ratio. The additive "Bivital" is obtained being very convenient at storage. Its feeding to poultry increases egg weight and density, increases egg yield and fodders intake degree. At feeding different types of animals their performance and production quality is increased.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
