FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agriculture. Disclosed is a method of producing an organomineral fodder additive for animals, involving mixing opal-cristobalite rock with filler, wherein the filler used is a vegetable oil with dissolved diacetophenonyl selenide, which is mixed with crushed opal-cristobalite rock in ratio (1:10,000) mg. At the same time from opal-cristobalite rock take gaize with amorphous silica content of not less than 80 %, which is preliminarily milled into fractions of not more than 1.0 mm. Mixing of crushed gaize with filler is performed at temperature of 50–70 °C with further cooling. Also disclosed is an organomineral fodder additive for animals, which is obtained using said method.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain an organomineral additive based on siliceous material from opal-cristobalite rocks for feeding animals, especially for prevention of metabolic disorders in cows, for normalizing metabolic processes, preventing postpartum diseases and increasing fat content of milk.
