FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves treating the whole vertebral column allover its length with low intensity infrared laser radiation modulated with infrared frequency not greater than 3 Hz, power not exceeding 50 J, wavelength of 960 nm during 1 min. Then injured areas are smeared with fir oil and treated with intensity infrared laser radiation modulated with infrared frequency not greater than 3 Hz, power not exceeding 0.1 W/cm2 applied to intervertebral disks in the area of spinal cord nerves exit during 2 min. 15 treatment sessions are given.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; improved blood and lymph circulation; reduced venous edema; accelerated resorption of salt deposits; alleviated pain and inflammation.
