SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the treatment of radiculopathy. A light guide is inserted into the affected area through a puncture needle to the intervertebral foramen and this area is affected at a wavelength of 662 nm, with a power of 10 mW for 5 minutes in a course of 3–5 procedures every other day.
EFFECT: method provides increased efficiency of treatment of radiculopathies with various etiologies and mechanisms of pathogenesis using low-intensity laser therapy due to targeted stimulation of the production of tissue-specific neurotrophic factors in patients with spondylogenic compression-ischemic, infectious and dysmetabolic radiculopathies.
