FIELD: engineering industry.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with mechanical engineering and, particularly, to production of magnetic support for vertical rotors of fast-rotating devices, energy storage units, centrifugal machines, in which the upper magnetic support of a rotor provides radial rigidity and centering of the rotor with respect to a bodyand simultaneously unloads the lower support from an axial loading. The magnetic support contains an installed in the body ring-type axially magnetized magnet with a pole terminal and the ferromagnetic bush located on the rotor opposite to a low butt of the magnet. At that in the magnetic support the ratio of the outside diameter of the magnet to the mean diameter of the ferromagnetic bush makes 1.2...1/5, the ratio of the inside diameter of the magnet to mean diameter of the ferromagnetic bush makes 0.8...0.9, and the ratio of the magnet height to its mean diameter makes 0.1...0.4. It is expedient, that the magnet should be installed along the axis with a minimum positive allowance along a mounting surface of the body. The invention improves parameters of the support at the expense of optimization of weight-dimension figures of the magnet made out of rare earth elements.

EFFECT: the invention improves parameters of the magnetic support for vertical rotors of fast-rotating devices.
