FIELD: mechanical engineering; production of magnetic supports of the vertical rotor.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular, to magnetic supports of the vertical rotor of the fast-revolving devices, instruments, gyros, energy storage units, centrifugal machines, oscillators, turbomolecular pumps and other similar devices. The presented magnetic support contains a ring-shaped axially magnetized magnet with a pole head made in the form of the ring adjoining the lower butt of the magnet, and the arranged coaxially on the rotor opposite to the lower butt of the magnet ferromagnetic bush with a ring-type radial prominence. The ring-shaped axially magnetized magnet with the pole head is made with the cross section in the form of a rectangle and is mounted on the body. The internal diameter of the head equals to 0.8...0.9 of the internal diameter of the ferromagnetic bush, and the thickness of the head equals to 0.5...1.2 of the thickness of the upper butt of the ferromagnetic bush. The given design of the device allows to improve reliability and to increase service life of the fast-revolving rotors with the magnetic support.
EFFECT: the invention ensures the improved reliability, the increased service life of the fast-revolving rotors with the magnetic support.
